PRESIDENT:
ABI LAWSON
Abigail is in her fourth year at SJSU, majoring in forensic science, CSI. She is originally from Scotland and moved to San Jose around 11 years ago! In her off time, she loves to thrift, hang out with friends and family, and do arts and crafts. Abi is super happy to be a part of FSC as the President, as it has provided her with so many new opportunities and great connections along the way. After college, she hopes to complete a master's program to bring her closer to her goal of being a blood spatter analyst.

NIKKI PANDITA
Nikki is a senior and is majoring in forensic science CSI. In her free time, she likes to spend time with friends, go to the gym, and watch shows. Some of her favorite shows are Criminal Minds, Friends, and The Rookie. She wants to be a CSI, where she can be out on the crime scenes analyzing and collecting evidence. She is very excited to be part of the event team and looks forward to meeting everyone!

Jalak Parekh is a sophomore majoring in Forensic Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She was part of the 2025 study abroad cohort in Scotland where she took part in a 2 week course in Scottish forensic science at the University of Strathclyde. In the future, she hope to work in a crime lab after getting her master’s degree. She enjoys solving jigsaw puzzles and watching crime shows in her free time
Hailey is a sophomore at SJSU and is majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Forensic Studies. She is an officer for the finance team and can't wait to get started and contribute to the club! :)
MEMBERSHIP CHAIR: ALY SPEHLING
Aly is a fourth-year Forensic CSI major who is hoping to become a fingerprint analyst, crime scene investigator, and eventually a coroner. She has been a member of the Forensic Science Club for 2 cumulative years before becoming an officer, and also holds a managing editor position for Themis, the SJSU forensic science and justice studies journal. She is looking forward to being more involved with the club this year and encourages anyone interested in forensics to join, regardless of their major!

This is Melissa's second semester after transferring to SJSU. She is majoring in Forensic Science: Digital Evidence. She got her A.A. degree in paralegal studies and hopes to continue her education pursuing a master's degree in Cybersecurity. She was born and raised in San Jose. Her favorite colors are green and pink. Some of her hobbies include water painting, reading thrillers and romance novels, and traveling. She is excited to be more hands on with the club.
Jaylin is a 3rd year forensic biology major and loves traveling, going to any and all live music events, and hanging out with my friends!

KRISTINA DUTT
I’m a 3rd-year Forensic Chemistry major! My spark for forensic science started in high school, and it has grown ever since! I’m working towards becoming a forensic toxicologist. I also have an interest in CSI. Outside of school, I love to cook/bake, watch shows, work out, and hang out with my friends and family. My favorite shows right now are The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad. I’m very excited to join the event team and meet new people!

Kenia is a second year Chemistry Forensic Science student! At this moment, she thinks she'd like to pursue a career as a Fire investigator or in toxicology! Outside of school she likes to read, play video games, and draw.

My name is Cheyla and I'm a junior majoring in Justice studies, concentration in criminology and double minoring in Forensic and Legal studies. I love reading psychological thriller/mystery books, baking, and thrifting. After college I want to pursue my masters to broaden my knowledge in forensics and find a career path that advocates for social and legal justice within Youth and Families.
Brianna is a freshman majoring in Forensic Biology. In the future she hope to be a fingerprint analyst. She is very excited to meet new people and explore ways to connect my creativity with my love for forensics. Her favorite color is blue and she love listening to kpop and watching anime.

DIANA BARRERA GALLARDO
Diana is currently enrolled as an Aviation major. However, she will be switching soon into Forensic Science with a consecration of Digital Evidence. She currently has a huge interest in the Backstreet Boys. Beyond music, she is very big on hiking, doing arts and crafts, collecting CDs, going on walks in parks, and doing jigsaw puzzles! Mia is a a junior majoring in Forensics with a concentration in Biology and minoring in Child Development and Chemistry. She has always been drawn to the medical field and how it intersects with forensic science to uncover the truth to help others. Her goal is to work in a field where she can combine science, healthcare, and advocacy for children and families, Outside of academics, Mia enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering, traveling, and trying new things, She is always eager to learn, grow, and connect with others, A fun fact about Mia is that her favorite color is pink even though she wears black all the time.
